Cake and Caring at CALLplus

Elsie Taylor is seen here celebrating her 98th birthday at CALLplus North Manchester drop in. Elsie has been supported by CALLplus for a number of years since she lost her husband to cancer and through her own illness.

Handing out cup cakes to the other drop in members Elsie said:

“I’m looking forward to celebrating my 100th birthday with you all!”

Rebecca Turner, North Manchester CALLplus Volunteers Manager who run the drop in said:

“Elsie is an inspiration to all the other people in the group who are living with a life-limiting illness. She always has a smile to share with everyone which brightens up the day.”
