New CALLplus Patron – Lee Stafford

Lee Stafford, TV personality, celebrity hairdresser and ‘Secret Millionaire’ is our new Patron.

Lee accepted the invitation to become CALLplus Patron at a special award ceremony we held in his honour with the cancer patients he visited as a volunteer during undercover filming of Channel 4’s ‘Secret Millionaire’.

Since the programme aired in November 2012 Lee has continued to support us raising over £30, 000. At the ceremony in Salford he was also given a special ‘Champion’ award for his efforts and to show our appreciation.

David Lambert Chairman of the charity commented: “We are so grateful to Lee Stafford for his continuing support this year which is also our 30th anniversary. His contribution is helping us to continue our vital work supporting people with cancer and other serious conditions so it seemed fitting to ask him to become our Patron. We are delighted that he said ‘Yes’.”
