Greater Manchester based charity Being There has been chosen by a cluster of TSB banks as their ‘Local Charity of the Year’. TSB branch managers and staff in Eccles, Irlam, Urmston and Chortlon have meet up with Being There staff to launch a year long programme of fundraising activities. The fundraising efforts will support the work Being There does for local people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
Michael Mullan cluster manager for the TSB said:
“TSB really cares about the local community. Our local branches supporting Being There is a great opportunity to work together as it allows us to be there for our local customers in the times that matter to them”.
General Manager of Being There Keith Hatton added:
“The support from the TSB is great news for our Being There and the people we work for. The partnership will raise much needed funds and inform people about the valuable work we do providing support to people at a difficult time in their lives. Thanks to the TSB and all their customers and staff.”
Please support this partnership by popping into your local TSB branch and making a donation.
