At the end of August following over 9 years service Keith Hatton retired as General Manager of Being There.
Keith spent over 26 years as a musician in the Regular Army before retiring in 2002. After brief spells working for Central and Local Government, Keith joined CALLplus (now know publicly as Being There) in May 2008 as Operations Manager and later became General Manager overseeing the day-to-day running of the organisation.
Keith helped oversee Being There through some difficult years as government cuts started to affect the third sector. He also brought the organisation to full compliance with statutory requirements of the NHS which involved many hours of policy checking and paperwork. Keith leaves the organisation in a strong position.
The trustees, supporters and colleagues at Being There would like to thank Keith and wish him all the very best in his retirement.
