Volunteers Meet Up

Last month a number of CALLplus volunteers, both long-term and more recently recruited, enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal at the Glass House, Walkden College with CALLplus founder and President, Tom Brown. This was a chance for our volunteers to meet each other  in a social setting, share their life experiences and discuss their volunteering role with Tom.

From the feedback given to Tom they had a good time would be happily to return to the Glass House for another ‘social’ and meal. All the food was prepared and served by the college students, many of whom were doing it for the first time. Even though the restaurant was busy and service was a bit chaotic at times their enthusiasm and desire to please made up for it.
